Insanity vs P90X -
Which is better,
Which is Harder,
Which one Should I do?
Well, the truth is both of these programs have dedicated followers and there are people who love both programs.
Both are systems of fitness success and both work, but in different ways, for different types of people.
Both are awesome. Both Rock. You should do... Both.
Yes, even if you don't like it, one of my fitness rules is to practice variety in fitness and these programs vary....
in so many ways.
If you searched on the net even a little bit before you stumbled here,
You will notice that many people out there compare the Insanity workout program with the great P90X.
In fact, you may have searched Insanity vs P90x to get to this website.
So, moving along...
both of these programs are so different that there is no point in comparing.
And while they're compared by die-hard fans, they are both produced by the same company, sold through the same groups, and coached by the same people.
They both have a goal,
that is, to provide the BEST solution for you to get phenomenal fitness results.
So, are there some differences?. Of course!
And is one harder than the other?
It depends on how you look at it, but, in one sense, I think you could say that.
The main differences include:
You'll find is that P90x focuses on Muscle Hypertrophy and Strength Training while Insanity focuses on Extreme Endurance, Muscle Efficiency, and Metabolic Conditioning.
Of course, both programs provide all those things in some form.....
Also, the caloric expenditure is most likely going to be higher in Insanity vs P90x.
Finally,
Insanity is 100% body-weight only with no equipment needed at all.
P90x requires weights/resistance, pull-up devices, and more.
Insanity vs p90x –
Is Insanity harder than p90x?
People try to compare them in terms of which one is harder.
You'll hear arguments on both side of the story.
I like both programs but am most fond of the P90X brand of workouts....
It's what I LOVE to do.
And it can be hard.
Especially if you try to tackle more advanced moves or try to progress to another level.
However, in my opinion,
Insanity is harder in the sense that I believe it is more challenging and a lot more taxing on your entire body each and every workout.
I do believe that you shouldn't even attempt Insanity if you haven't done a round of P90x.
That’s how hard the Insanity workout is.
This program is designed to test you by letting you decide how much you can take.
With P90x
You'll get a very tough, very well rounded fitness system that you can do for life.
With Insanity,
You'll get an Extreme Challenge that you should also do every once in a while to advance your fitness level, work on total body conditioning or cutting...
It’s up to you whether you will push yourself to the limit.
That's what Insanity Will Bring and that's how you can compare Insanity vs P90X
Of course, there will be differences of opinion.
