Tony Horton:

Power 90®, P90X®, P90X2®, P90X3

Never show up to a holiday party hungry.”

In 2014 Tony Horton is looking forward to some big product launches, proposing to his long term girlfriend, and holding a free handstand for an absurd amount of time.

Read more to find out what else he has up his sleeve.
Q & A:

What is a healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

Never show up to a holiday party hungry. Because I’m that kind of guy, I’ll give you two reasons: If you must drink alcohol, drink a 10oz glass of water between every alcoholic beverage. You won’t get as intoxicated, act as stupid, or pack on as many calories.

What is your New Year’s resolution?

I have three…

1. Run a sub-24:30 5k
2. To hold a one-minute free handstand.
3. 40 clean, full range of motion, pull-ups in a row.

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

The success of P90X3, the launch of my Tony Horton apparel line, the sale of Tony Horton Kitchen in 7-11 convenience stores around the country, and successful sales of “The Big Picture,” my third book with Harper Collins.

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

Finding a creative way to ask Shawna Branon to marry me. I’m open to any and all suggestions.

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Kick some ass!

Shaun T:

Hip Hop Abs®, Rockin’ Body®, Insanity®, Insanity ASYLUM, FOCUS T25

Moderation is the key.”

The creator of Focus T25, Insanity and many more of your favorite workouts, knows moderation is key.Finding balance in 2014 is one of Shaun T’s main objectives along with helping as many people as possible get fit.

Q & A:

What is one healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

I never starve or deprive myself. Moderation is the key.

I try to find balance. I make sure to workout in the morning-—that makes me feel great and makes me want to eat well, too. I choose to eat the things I really like, not waste my calories.

If I want a glass of wine, I drink a glass of wine. Same goes for dessert, one piece of pumpkin pie-—not the entire pie!

What is your New Year’s resolution?

To keep helping people around the world start moving.

Personally, to be happy and healthy and to take a little more time to take care of my body.

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

Changing more lives, inspiring and motivating as many people as I can.

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you to overcome it?

Taking care of my body.I have to find balance between staying in shape and working out too much.I worked my body a little too hard this year.Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Chalene Johnson:

TurboFire, Turbo Jam, ChaLEAN Extreme

If you’re flexible you know you’ll get there it just might not be the way you planned.”

Personal development and fitness guru, Chalene Johnson, knows the most effective way to achieve your goals is to write them down and hold yourself accountable.

Read on to see how she is applying that strategy to her personal goals in 2014.
Q & A:

What is one healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

I have no problem upping my workout. I don’t believe much in denying yourself treats. I’m not much of a disciplinarian when it comes to nutrition, I just believe in balance.

But you better balance it. If you are going to eat more or drink more, your workout better be a half hour longer or considerably tougher.

What is your New Year’s resolution?

I try to think of resolutions as a way to be better at just one thing.

And my New Year’s resolution is to be on time.

Certain things I’m on time for without fail, but there are regularly scheduled activities that I show up to late and I want to be there early.

And I will say when you make a resolution its important you put it in writing and let the world know so that you don’t fall off around mid-February.

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

The release of my new program #duh – the secret, not so secret one.

I’m looking forward to giving Coaches a program that I believe is an offer we've been missing.

I've never created something that literally makes your body feel younger.

It’s easy on your joints, restorative and gives people crazy results. We have a lot of kick-your-ass, beat-you-up programs, but every day when I finished filming for this new program I felt great.

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

For me my biggest challenge is putting too many things on my plate and being tempted to take on opportunities and in doing so sacrifice time with my family.

I overcome it by writing out my priority statement and making sure other people know about it.

I make it known that my priority is first my family. I’ll say “yes” to something if it doesn’t impact my family.

It’s important that you put your statement at the front of your mind so you stick to it and make it known – whether it’s weight loss or a personal challenge or sobriety etc.

If people know what your statement is they will do a better job to support you.

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Clarity. Flexibility. Gratitude.

If you’re flexible you know you’ll get there it just might not be the way you planned.

And the more you feel blessed the more blessings will come to you.

Sagi Kalev:

Body Beast

I always celebrate the little things in life. You have to appreciate anything and everything.”

When it comes to health goals, Body Beast’s Sagi Kalev makes sure to ask himself the right questions.

It’s how he stays centered and focused on his health goals. What questions is he asking?

Read on to find out.
Q & A:

What is one healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

Asking myself the right questions. How is this serving me? What’s the pay off?

And does it get me closer to my goals or further away from my goals?

The answer is you always know the truth. So be truthful to yourself.

That will change your mindset, your temptations, and ultimately your decisions.

What is your New Year’s resolution?

I don’t have one.

I set up new goals, improvements, challenges, personal development and learning/studying throughout the year.

Instead of setting up New Year’s resolutions, figure out what your values are.

Align your values with your goals.

My top values are: God, health, family, and growth.

For me, every day is a new day, a new opportunity, and new experiences.

It’s not about the year or the number.

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

I’m looking forward to influencing and inspiring as many people as possible—especially kids!

I want people of all ages to learn what being a “beast” truly means.

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

Starting school again.

One is completing my Naturopath Doctorate degree, and the other is completing a Strategic Interventionist coaching program.

My biggest challenge is time, since I work full-time as a health practitioner.

My second biggest challenge is maintaining balance in my physical, emotional, and spiritual life.

How will I overcome this?

I’ll begin by hiring a new assistant and asking for help when I need it.

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Decide. Commit. Succeed.

LOL! I am a fearless, honest, worthy man.

After all, I am the Beast.

Leandro Carvalho:

Brazil Butt Lift

My biggest challenge is to find balance between work and play.”

The Brazil Butt Lift master, Leandro Carvalho, fills up on healthy foods first so he doesn’t overdo it on the sweets.

And in 2014 he’ll be channeling that healthy energy into two new projects.

Find out more here.
Q & A:

What is one healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

Having small meals throughout the day.

Then, when I get to the holiday party I choose the healthy dishes first so I don’t get tempted with the rich foods and desserts.

Then I can enjoy a small portion of the sweets because I’m not too hungry.

What is your New Year’s resolution?

“Less is more” is the driving force behind my New Year’s resolution.I will be more focused, and direct my energy into two projects : an obesity weight loss program and I also want to expand Leandrofitness studio!

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

I am looking forward to peace, love, and to use my knowledge and experience in fitness and nutrition to help millions of people live more fulfilled lives.

This will make me have a happy 2014!

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

My biggest challenge is to find balance between work and play, so I don’t get burned out.

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Acceptance, Motivation, Action.

Dan Cohen:

Les Mills Pump, Les Mills Combat

Preparation is key… Eat clean and train mean!”

Les Mills’ Dan Cohen is a lean, mean training machine who is revved up for the events and growth opportunities surrounding Les Mills in 2014.

Find out what is in store…
Q & A:

What is one healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

I know that I can rely on my training regime.

I’ll train at least once every day.

I include stretching and mobility as a “training day”; sometimes I’ll even do our technique-focused Kata and stretch sequence that’s featured in the Les Mills COMBAT DVD twice in the same day!

What is your New Year’s resolution?

To stop trying to kick higher than Rach – haha! I’m getting old!

My real resolutions are going to be a continuation of my 2013 goals:

• Help and listen to people that I meet—both at home and when I travel.
• Build on any opportunities for small humanitarian/community work.
• Continue to support the growth of Les Mills and Beachbody.

We have some awesome events planned and are really looking forward to connecting with the instructors/Coaches.

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

There are so many exciting events and opportunities planned for the next 18 months, so it’s a challenge to choose just one!

We’re excited about the continued development of the LES MILLS™ programs that are delivered in fitness clubs all around the world (there are over 15,000 clubs offering LES MILLS™ classes now).

Rach and I are constantly working on BODYCOMBAT, our martial arts-based class, CXWORX, a core training class, and SH’BAM™, a high energy dance class.

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

Consistency, this seems to be my Achilles heel.

I know that preparation is key – preparing for long business trips and making sure I have the right nutrition for the job.

It’s important to stay away from the “quick fix” that we see on TV – sugar drinks, cereals, take out foods; anything that contains ingredients that are difficult to pronounce.

Eat clean and train mean!

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Determined, Patient, Awesome.

Rachael Newsham:

Les Mills Pump, Les Mills Combat

I want to keep encouraging people to be fresh with their workout possibilities and challenges.”

Next year, Rachael Newsham of Les Mills Combat can’t wait to help folks attack their fitness from a fresh angle.

She’ll be traveling the world working out with Les Mills fans and helping to expand the brand.
Q & A:

What is your New Year’s resolution?

I have a few:

One is to continue to push the button on fitness for as many people, in as many places, as possible.

This means I want to keep encouraging people to be fresh with their workout possibilities and challenges.

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

The trips where I get to meet, and work out with Les Mills enthusiasts around the world.

I hope that in 2014 at least one will be with the Beachbody crew.

– Coach Summit in Vegas this past year was off the chain insane!

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

Hmmmm, if I had a twin that would be awesome!

Together we would continue to develop our LES MILLS programs (like BODYCOMBAT and SH’BAM) making sure they remain the world’s best group fitness classes, get to all the events we need to be at, and do all the other things my role requires.

Time management, I guess is my answer.

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Buzzy, Brave and Bright.

Debbie Siebers:

Slim in 6

Burn more and sweat more!”

This holiday season Debbie Siebers ramped up her cardio, sweated more and combated sugary holiday temptations with plenty of vegetables.

Read on to hear how she’ll carry her healthy habits into the New Year.
Q & A:

What is one healthy habit that gets you through the unhealthy temptations of the holiday season?

I up my cardio. Burn more and sweat more!

I also like to eat a vegetable salad or have a Shakeology drink before going to a party so I am less tempted to indulge!

What is your New Year’s resolution?

My New Year’s Resolution is to take an online Nutrition Course to expand my knowledge and expertise in health and wellness.

I can’t wait to share that information with my customers!

What are you looking forward to in 2014?

I’m looking forward to finding the perfect opportunity in 2014 to expand my brand.

This will allow me to continue to help others live healthier, happier lives with the focus being on healing and wellness!

I also plan to do more speaking engagements on the importance of setting goals and how to overcome compulsive overeating.

What will be your biggest challenge for 2014 and how are you planning to overcome it?

My biggest challenge for 2014 will be moving again in March. Ugh!

I just relocated to Colorado in September and the house I am leasing isn’t what I had hoped or expected.

I plan to overcome it by accepting the situation, enjoying where I am and getting to know the neighborhood so I can make the best choice for myself.

Three motivational words to describe your frame of mind for 2014?

Hmmmmm….

This is tough as so many come to mind like Persistence, Patience, Gratitude, Abundance, Acceptance, Courage, Strength, Positivity.

But if I have to narrow it down:

FAITH, WISDOM, and DETERMINATION.

What will your 2014 look like?

Join me and these trainers this year...
